MENistry…

MENistry is about Manhood and Christ-likeness, which is synonymous!   This ministry is for men of all ages.  It is designed to teach and INSPIRE men toward Godly living, to MENTOR young men towards responsible manhood and to MODEL Servant-Leadership in family and community.  We believe men are ordained of God to guide, guard and govern as Servant-Leaders under God. It is only a Godly man, embracing Godly principles who can rise above pop culture and worldly philosophy, to be men of honor and integrity, who unashamedly embrace Christ as Savior.  Men of all ages are invited and encouraged to participate in this ministry. 

 

EXCEL WOMENistry…

EXCEL means “to go beyond limits; to surpass; to be greater or better.”
EXCEL WOMENistry is about moving Christian woman beyond religious popular culture to true Kingdom discipleship, centered in the Word of God.   EXCEL aims to teach and encourage women from a practical and biblical perspective to GO beyond limits of cultural Christianity, to OBEY the leadings of the Holy Spirit and to LIVE by the truth of God’s Word as an empowered Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.  Woman of all ages are invited and encouraged to participate in this dynamic ministry.

 

MARRIAGE TOOLS

“Marriage and family are the basic units of all societies and governments; they are vital to all institutions of society.”  This ministry is designed to equip Pre-Marital Couples and Married Couples with tools for a successful marriage.  It emphasizes 12-16 weeks of interactive Biblical Counseling and Prayer along with examining family traditions, history of the couple, finances, personality testing, and religious beliefs.  This ministry has ongoing couples meetings throughout the year to help encourage and fortify God’s plans and principles for marriage.  Marriage Counseling is not the “cure all” for challenges that a marriage may face, but it is designed to equip couples with tools that support communication in conflict and resolution and the marital expectations of his and her needs.  We guarantee that if the tools are prayerfully and selflessly used, God will faithfully energize, support and restore any couple who will trust in His restoring grace.  We believe that marriage and family are the basic units of all societies and governments; they are vital to all institutions of society.  It is Biblically recognized by God to be only between one man and one woman. Some nominal fees are associated with scheduled counseling session.

At Joint Heirs Fellowship Church , we believe Children and Youth can and should come to know the Lord and learn to worship Him in Spirit and in Truth at a tender age.  Jesus said to allow children to come to Him and do not hinder them.  We believe this is best achieved within the context of families worshipping together. At Joint Heirs Fellowship Church , “ Children Church ” takes place within the adult services where Children and Youth are encouraged to participate in the functions and services of Worship times.  We believe children learn by what is modeled before them first at home and then in community. Children serving and observing in Church learn to reverence God and catch the true essence of faith in Jesus Christ. Other teaching events and outreaches happen throughout the year as scheduled that further fortify the Christian education of our Children and Youth.

 

STRETCH IT! …

Stretch It! is about Believers stretching themselves to stretch the Great Commission by winning others to Christ on a “one on one” basis. We can win the World to Christ by winning the people in our spheres of influence. This ministry is designed to teach and train every Believer how to confidently engage the culture with biblical truths that men might be persuaded to put their trust in the Savior, Jesus Christ. Although we encourage group and team Evangelism, we believe that a greater harvest is reached when every Believer is engaged in Kingdom work.  This ministry is designed to empower the Believer by eliminating the many fears and anxiety that Satan uses against the mind that causes us to avoid sharing our faith with others we love and to disobey the last instructions given by our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ before ascending to Heaven.  2 Cor. 5:11(a) says, “Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men;…” KJV
