Pastor John, “A Good Shepherd” received the Lord and was baptized in the Holy Spirit while attending a Marilyn Hickey Crusade at Lakewood Church in 1985.  He attended and graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center (AKA Kenneth Hagin Ministries), Broken Arrow, OK in 1987-1989 and is licensed and ordained through RHEMA Ministerial Association International (RMAI).  While attending RHEMA, John met and married Ericka McCray (native Floridian) who serves with him in the ministry. They are the Founders and Pastors of Image of God Bible Church & World Outreach (1992).  In 2005 a newly incorporated joint fellowship was established and the church was renamed as Joint Heirs Fellowship Church.

Pastor John is passionate about the commission to make disciples through spiritual growth and equipping of all Believers (II Timothy 2:2).  His life devoir is to make committed and knowledgeable disciples who are equipped and empowered by the Holy Spirit to engage and impact the culture.  The focus of his teaching ministry is to persuade men of an eternal perspective, calling the Unbeliever to trust Christ for the remission of sin and to persuade the Believer to think and behave biblically.

A native Houstonian, he holds an Associates of Arts in Biblical Studies from the College of Biblical Studies, in Houston TX.  His College years carried him to Bacone Jr. College (Muskogee, OK) and Southern Methodist University (SMU) (Dallas, TX), where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration (BBA).

Pastor Ericka is a graduate from RHEMA Bible Training Center (1986-1988) and is licensed and ordained through RHEMA Ministerial Association International (RMAI).  While attending RHEMA, she met and married John T. McCrutcheon.  Ericka currently serves the ministry as Co-Pastor, Worship Leader and Church Administrator.

Ericka’s frank and sometimes hilarious, practical teaching style of ministry has captured audiences at various Churches, Women Conferences, Seminars and Banquets in many cities in the U.S.  Ericka is committed to teaching the Word of God and inspiring others to become MATURE disciples of Jesus Christ (John 8:31-32).  Her ministry reaches out beyond the walls of her church into her Community where she serves as the President of the Kirkwood Civic Organization.  She has served as Chaplin of the Daughters of Liberty Political Action Council.   Her tentacles also touch the students at the University of Houston where she ministers at various campus events and sorority meetings.  She also outreaches to women on a one-to-one basis, teaching and encouraging women to walk confidently in the grace of God.  She loves teaching bible studies and effective evangelism.

A native Floridian, she attended the University of Florida (Gainsville) where she majored in Computer Science.

"Discipleship is how we grow church, follow the example of the first church in the book of Acts."

"Prayer is essential to every thing we do! Through
prayer we do ministry God's way, in His strength,
and by His leadings . . . prayer works!"
