Pastor John McCrutcheon
Pastor John works hard to follow Jesus' command to make disciples by helping people grow spiritually and training all believers (2 Timothy 2:2). His goal is to help people become strong and knowledgeable followers of Jesus, guided by the Holy Spirit, so they can have a positive impact on the world around them. Pastor John teaches unbelievers to trust Jesus to forgive their sins, and he encourages believers to live and make decisions based on what the Bible says.
John grew up in Houston. He earned an Associate of Arts degree in Biblical Studies from the College of Biblical Studies in Houston, Texas. He also completed a two-year Biblical Studies Certificate program at Rhema Bible College in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. In addition, he attended Bacone Junior College in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and received a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Southern Methodist University. John is licensed and ordained by the Rhema Ministerial Association International (RMAI). He is the Texas RMAI District Director and supports Pastors in the area.
Pastor Ericka McCrutcheon
Ericka is known for her honest and funny teaching style, which makes her talks engaging for people at churches, women’s conferences, seminars, and banquets all over the United States. She is committed to teaching the Bible and helping others grow into mature followers of Jesus Christ (John 8:31-32). Her work goes beyond her church; Ericka serves her community as an elected member of the Board of Directors for Harris Central Appraisal District (HCAD) and as the president of the Kirkwood Civic Club. She also connects with students at the University of Houston, joining campus events and sorority meetings. Ericka provides support to women one-on-one, teaching and encouraging them to live confidently in God’s grace. She loves leading Bible studies and sharing her faith with others.
Ericka grew up in Florida and went to the University of Florida in Gainesville, where she studied Computer Science. She graduated from RHEMA Bible Training Center (1986–1988) and is licensed and ordained by the RHEMA Ministerial Association International (RMAI). She also earned a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies with a focus on Biblical Studies from Grand Canyon University, graduating with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude). Today, Ericka serves her ministry as a Co-Pastor, Teacher, Worship Leader, and Church Administrator.
